I figured it out. make the part you DONT want to show transparent, and the part you want to show white

Yeah, quite easy. Unless you're an idiot, should be easily figured out. Just draw something in a 128*128 file, white - visible, black - invisible.

Also adding a different color instead of white may change the color of the flame.

I think elf flames turn pink with a blue texture.
