What's the best program to use for making head textures? I have paint.NET but i don't see how it would be capable of making such work's of art as other artist's. I will not be buying Photoshop unless there is a free DL for it (PM me if so) but besides all that, what is the best freeware program to make textures with and why.

I have downloaded GIMP, i can use paint.NET better, but if you recommend GIMP i will get into it.

the program is only like 15% of the quality of the head. If you can't draw, and have no artistic abilities (digital or not) then your stuff probably won't turn out too great.

But yeah, Gimp is alright.
