Portal
Holeeee shit. I cant believe nobody has made a thread about this yet.
Valve's game Portal, is a short, puzzle/firstperson shooter game.
the game is located in a building called "The Aperture Science Enrichment Center" where the player wakes up in a chamber and finds them self trapped.
after about ten seconds of exploring, a voice comes on the intercom and starts to talk to you. later, am orange ring appears in the wall. you can see outside of the room that there is another ring, but it is blue. throw an object into the ring and it comes out the other. the same thing happens when you walk through it. you now find yourself outside of the room, and then you proceed to the door on the other side of the room.
these rings are
Portals. (hence the name) you will eventually receive a gun that lets you shoot, and create your own portals. you will use this device to solve more than nineteen chambers.
avoid turrets, acidic waters, energy balls, traps, and only one thing is motivating you...
The Cake.
you later find out that the enrichment center is uncomfortably barren, quite dangerous, and also that the robot on the intercom is a bit twisted.
