I finally want to talk about Taek
This has been a few years and this question has been on my mind all the time.
Back then I didn't want to talk about it because Taek was an Evil member and a good friend of mine.

But why the heck is Taek a toribash legend?
The legend thread suggests it is because he invented Taekkyon. But what is the source of that? I mean you can simply look up who created the mod on

It was RbLcK.

Can anyone explain to me what I am missing?

The mod was created by RbLcK, but Taek defined it!

He literally was an average black belt. He wasn't even particularly good at the mod. Source: I played with him a lot.

I checked out RbLcK's mod uploads. He uploaded taekkyon, wushu, aikido and others, all on the same day. I may be wrong but I believe taekkyon did get created by Taek, but before the forums's mod system was invented. When it rolled around, RbLcK just uploaded these mods.

Are there even any current staff members who can go that far back in time and read logs between players in-game and on forums to see who created the idea of the mod...?

Can anyone explain to me what I am missing?

I am not 100% certain as I do not have access to the channels anymore, but I do remember somebody that’s been Staff for a long time telling me that RbLcK just reuploaded a lot of the popular mods after some sort of database reset (or something like that idk) and didn’t actually create them.
