is there any difference in the steam version of toribash?

Steams achievements all work. You can straight up buy stuff because steam wallet integration. Replays are in a different folder. But no changes to the core of the game, really

It automaticly updates when there is a new version available, and you don't need to change replays and things when you get the new version.

Next to that, some things duck said and some things which are only useful for people that use steam.
