hey, as I am going back to 3d I am making this chibbi daft punk.
It is a WIP that I need to animate, I have refs for animation and I am going to do it online on twitchtv.
For now I just show a render of it.

I think it's too shiny, the suit should have a more of a leathery look. head looks good, but the white squares are confusing and distracting.

about the visor lights I cant do much, their intensity doesnt change much.
It will be a second attention focal and so the body moving.

Do you think you would be able to change the pattern on mask from a heart to something else? It would be cool if it cycled the name Daft Punk.

a hard one cause to do letters with lights is a bit of pain, but anything is possible, what I would need is a set of lights and different materials,
a material for each letter as example, so they blink separately
I made diamond shape and heart shape

Diamond shade should be nice.
The suit is pretty cool.
I can't see any shiny effects on the below of the mask, the side is already nice.
Are you planning to make his gloves gold? just like the original one. It's going to looks even cooler if you do.

I did, it is the same material as helmet, but with the suit falling over his hands you cant see.
