Does hair color change it? Or is white really the only color for barbed wire?

You cannot change the color of any 3D item. Hair color only works on hair.

Not really, barbed wire is more of a light grey, like how the stereotypical metal would look.

But I think you can change some 3d object colors, I've seen shutter shades be green and grey instead of pink before. Are you sure it's impossible?

dunno where you've seen the green shutter shades before, but as far as I know it's impossible. Also to the thread owner; you should make the title so people know what you need help with, e.g. Barbed Wire color change?
