Hompo can generate as much TC as he wants. He and Ash are friends I believe, and know each other. They talk to each other on IRC quite a bit. Why he did it however? I'm not sure. Ask Ash.

What is even more interesting though, is where the money is now.

So yeah, all in all pretty interesting. But probably completely okay and legit.
