Credit card required for PayPal?
Hey guys
I was wondering if it is required to have an active credit card for a paypal account
Like say someone wanted to buy something off me via USD, would the dollar amount be added to my paypal balance or do I actually have to have a credit card linked to the account in order to accept payments?
Thanks in advance
I don't have a credit card, but I've used paypal for various transactions.
I believe it's possible but you might need to add a regular bank account.

Melqart said about the right thing.

You can have a Paypal account without attaching it to a credit card, but you will have to provide a bank account to work with it, and you won't be able to redeem that amount (I'm not sure if this is a global paypal rule).

Once you add an credit card to your paypal account you're all set, Paypal will send you a test bill (0,0001 cents lol) and when your bank confirm that amount paypal wil credit you 0,0001 cents in cash so you don't lose your precious money. It's better to add an credit card account to your paypal account since you will then be able to recieve and send money, other than that you won't be able to redeem it on your bank.
