OK so I've been wondering this for a while but how do you join your friends private server made using create on non steam version we tried me making it and him making it but it just will not show up in the server list we tried reseting the game too.

It probably doesn't show up because it takes a while for the serverlist to update. Best way is to make the room, remember the name (or just check it in left corner) and tell it to the person you want to join. The person will have to open chat and use command /jo <servername>.
