So since Toribash is on steam now we can use steam commands and make them links and things. This will be super useful for the forum as we can now link people to game rooms and they can join with a click.

I'm having trouble getting it to work however.
Simply getting Toribash to open is easy.

steam://run/248570

Getting it connect to a room is harder however. I went into a blackbelt room to get the ip and port to test.

Then I figured this command would work.

steam://connect:144.76.163.138:20301/

It did not.

I also tried combining both like so.

steam://run/248570+connect:144.76.163.136:20224/

Did not work either.

Any help insight or clarity would be super welcome.
I'll make a guide/faq once I figure it out.

The short answer is that Toribash isn't written to handle connects the way steam gives them to it.

I'd imagine steam://connect:iport/ works for most (all?) source engine games and not much else.

Try this
steam://run/248570//+connect 144.76.163.136:20224
steam://run/248570//+connect join judo2
