Right, one person can monitor the forum, in-game, and developing the game. Dealing with anything from spambots and farmers to paypal fraud and hackers.

Moderators moderate the forum and try to keep in order.

To prevent the following: farming, scam, stealing, spamming, multiclienting etc.

Also gm's make events and tourneys to try and keep the game interesting and challenging.

take away the moderators and the whole forum turns into wibbles.
With the amount of traffic the forum recieves, moderation is essential.
