Well i've been around for a while, granted there are many who have been around longer but i have always thought Toribash was a game that only a handful of people had even heard about. Having 500 people playing TB all at once is considered a lot... yet there are 7 billion people on this planet and recently toribash had been popping up all over the place for me. Just last week i found out that one of my friends who i see everyday also plays toribash (although he does suck at it). Then today i was doing ICT Graphics for my GCSEs and i was given references for paper cut out characters by my teacher and there must have been about 25 different examples and one of them just happened to be Toribash related.

Now i would like to know how popular you think Toribash is and whether the small community is due to TBs steep learning curve and niche market or whether you think the two above events are just coincidence.

If I would rate how toribash popular is, I would say it's a 3/10
It kinda looks like a small number to me :/

I think the problem is that people play it but they don't stick at it they give up after Uke has whooped them a few times. But toribash is definitely out there and more so than I thought.

When I go on 4chan "post your desktop" threads I see Toribash sometimes. So yeah, I guess you can say it is slightly popular.

In my opinion Toribash isn't that popular but the community is nice, I am surprised it hasn't spread very well over time. Overall I think it might be like a 5/10 or 4/10.

I think the popularity in Indonesia is 4/10
But in my school many of my friend play toribash too but majority of them are n00bish white belt . The greatest belt my friend ever had is Green Belt
I'm the best at school.
But in the whole country. There's groumet ;-;

the thing is that the playstyle of toribash is unique.
there are no other games which give u the freedom as toribash.
toribash is some sort of popular. but most of the people are not "active".. i know some of my friends only play singleplayer. and are not active in the forums. there are probably more out of these. who like the game. but just dont play it activeley or good.

well if i should rate the popularity.. 8/10. most people tried it already - heard it from friends (who doesnt tell his friends from this great unique game?) but most of them just dont stick to this game. may because the learning curve is too high or they just dont likt it at all.
but mostly, probably because of the learning curve.

I think it's quite popular. It's just a game that not many people can play religiously like the regular community members you see around do, or used to.

Most people play it just because it's fun and goofy at the time. It only snags 1 out ever 3 people or something like that.

But total player in Indonesia is so fucked up.
