i listen to probably every metal subgenre (mostly heavy metal though) and i was wondering if anyone here could give me some good metal bands and tell me what subgenre they are. currently my favorites are Trivium, Insomnium, Dream theater, Megadeth, and a bit of Cradle of filth.

these seem to be great bands. already listen to iron maiden and a bit of Drowning pool, COB, Amon amarth, and Machine head. gonna check these other bands out when i get home. thanks!
