First off, every forum is different and has positions based upon it's own needs as a forum.
So you can't possibly expect the toribash forum to be the same as anywhere else really.

Yeah, I only don't like erthtkv2 because of the mod's name. Make it "tkv2," and the mod will instantly become more popular. This is a valid reason as the name of the mod is still an important feature that no one seems to have yet discussed.

Not just in Toribash ... in every game.
usually GMīs are for game mainteance there, so theyre helping players out, making event, take a look at support if the game doesnt runs etc.
modīs usually take a look in the forum, they keep it clean, etc. they mainly do their job in their forum, like the local mods in the offtopic board, they just keep it clean, free from spam and such.
