How are you ranked?
On a judo server i beat like 5 people lower ranks than me, I go up like 2 ranks, then I beat a person 2000 ranks higher, and I go up around 1500 ranks?

Ranking is based on a modified ELO rating system which is the number before the actual rank (ex: 1601). You probably jumped 1500 ranks because the person you defeated had a lower ELO, but higher rank then you - he had a bad streak and his rank didn't update yet etc, so you 2 swapped ranks.
