I am having a constant login error that will not allow my account to login to Toribash. It is very annoying, and I do not want to make a new account for Toribash again. There is a photo below that shows what the problem is..

If anyone knows the problem or how to fix it, please respond...

if you're on windows vista or above, make sure the game is installed to C:\Games\Toribash-3.9x, or try running toribash as an administrator

if you're running mac, you're going to need to take ownership (or at least writing permissions) to the folder toribash is installed in

Yes, my Toribash file is installed to c:/games/Toribash-3.9x, I will try the running as admin when my dad gets home, for he is the only one who knows the password..

Is there a way to edit the tb_login.dat file with notepad so I can log myself in through there? I haven't tried it yet, 'cuz I don't know if it's really safe to.

it would work, however more problems arise when you try to do things like save replays/download textures and items/etcetera

if you don't have access to an administrator account, you're going to have to have write permissions added for the Toribash folder

Alright, so I guess that wouldn't work out so well with the replays and such..

I feel like a noob for asking this, but how exactly do I write permissions?
