Salem is a new MMO coming out developed by Seatribe, published by paradox, it seems pretty cool, open beta coming out soon, you can sign up for it HERE
has some pretty cool features

☑ Open PvP without safe areas
☑ Extensive and complex crafting/building/farming
☑ Witchcrafting
☑ Incentives players to work togheter, an actual MMO
☑ Set in a colonial era and influenced by it's myths

imo permanent death seems like its going to be REALLY cool, also players control how things work, it seems like its worth a try

In the meantime, you can play Haven and Hearth, which is basically a worse graphics version.

Its not as bad as it sounds, you keep some of your exp and items on the next toon you create, just lose freinds list and carried items, etc, he explains it in the video
