How do MLG players get their usernames?
I was just watching a MLG game and the names of the players were quite simple, like clutch and enable. I want to know how these guys get their names without having to whack on a whole bunch of numbers and x's. They're all quite young, and I don't believe that as soon as Xbox Live was online that they went and snapped up these simple names. When the commentators were talking about the players as clutch and enable, I expected that these were their names in a shortened format, but when I watched the game I saw that indeed these guys had short one word names. I ask here only because I have nowhere else to ask.

Well not really, names like clutch and cloud would go very fast when registering for Xbox Live. I was curious how those names fell to MLG players.

Presumably they have an arrangement with microsoft that allows them to get those names.

Stupid question requires stupidly ironic answer.
