But as i can see. it is the last step. He just made a circle and added it next to the grey boxes(if it were boxes).
Just take a look on the final result and you'll figure it out. It just easy.

Anyway, you can just read the instructions. Its pretty understandable. One thing is what i cant get is where is the dump tool in gimp 2.6? shortcut is different
