BLEU IRC GUIDE
Hey, what's up? Want to join IRC to talk with all our members and friends instantly? All you need to do is get a client!
I recommend Nettalk. Or you could just go here if you don't want to bother with the cool features of IRC:

Go there anyways if you want to use Nettalk. While you're in #Bleu, type this:
/msg nickserv register PasswordHere EmailHere
Replace "PasswordHere" and "EmailHere" with a password and email. I don't recommend using the same password you use for the game. Then exit that link and follow the rest of this guide.

Follow everything ViperTech wrote up until part with your Nickname and Password. Go against what he says by typing your IRC password in there. Then, at the commands after the login list, replace everything there so it reads like this:

SUPERVISORS/TEACHERS/GUESTS
1. No joining to attend off-topic casual chat unless you are willing to also help and chat with new users in order to get them used to chatting via irc and answering any/all questions they have.
2. Do not join if you constantly break the rules in order to look cool, this is a bad influence to new users.
3. No marketing. As new users do not know prices and etc and could be easily swindles. Use #market for this.
STUDENTS
1. Always remain on topic when someone is teaching you something.
2. Have patience with the people helping out in IRC. Remember that they're real people, not robots that answer automatically.
3. If your question involves a specific topic, ask the person who will know most about that topic. No favorites.
EVERYONE
1. No vulgar or cursing language/words of any kind when someone asks you to not use them.
2. No usage or discussion of pornography, warez, hacking, or pirating of any kind.
3. Keep all links clean, the majority of users are under the age of 18.
#BLEU IRC POSITIONS OF POWER
In IRC, there are seven different types of users in a channel, each with different positions of power and signs. In order from least power to greatest and their signs, these are:
No sign = Channel normal user
+ = Channel voiced user
@ = Channel operator
& = Channel admin
~ = Channel owner
No sign = IRC operator
Please note that voiced users only receive the power to talk when the channel is muted.
You probably noticed that both IRC operator and channel normal user have no signs. This is because an IRC operator is someone with power over every channel in the entire IRC network. To find out if someone is an operator, type this:
/whois NickHere
It will list different information about the user, such as what channels they're in, what their real name is (they set that themselves), etc. If they are an IRC operator, it will tell you that below the server they're on.
If you want to have any of these spots in our IRC channel, please fill out this application:
NOTE: Due to there being two owners in the channel, we will not use channel admins. Anyone applying for channel admin will have what is considered to be an invalid application.

All right, to get you guys active in IRC, I'm getting some guys I know to chill around and talk with you. Should help you get used to the community.
Just remember that they're not in the clan and won't be posting, but will be there in IRC to talk to if you want.
