I reinstalled my Windows XP due to many problems. On the internet, it can't pick up any sounds but with one exception. I recently downloaded the Unity thing for the browser and somehow, games that support Unity has sounds. I also downloaded a game called "Improviso" and it has audio too. I thought that anything saved on the hardware has audio but when I launched Toribash, it also has no audio.

Suggestions?

Try to update your soundcard's drivers.

It seems that my Realtek Audio thing is the only one that has the Update Driver option. It just takes too long, I left it for an hour still nothing.

Suggestions:
Primary: Use windows 7.
Secondary: Find out what motherboard you have and go to the manufacturers website, they should have a download for audio drivers there that should work.
