Need for Speed: SHIFT 2 Unleashed
Oh my, is AlphasoniK really making a Need for Speed thread?!
Oh yes, yes I am.
In fact, this game is pretty decent!
Let me give you an in depth review.
First of all, lets talk gameplay.
Career:
There are 20 levels to achieve, simply takes time by getting experience, nothing too flashy.
The career mode isn't very hard, there are a couple sorts of events.
All based on classes or modes, such as Modern B or Drift. The drivers of the NfS racing team help you get trough it,
and once you're good enough, you get to challenge them for their cars.
Nothing special about the career mode, but then again, the racing makes up for it.

Racing:
Fast paced action, pretty realistic, fun to drive.
It's so much better than the last NfS's, it's almost a completely different game.
The game has a lot of new features, one of them is the "Helmet Camera".
The name says it all, it looks like you watch through the drivers eyes.
It's way awesome, although it's harder to see. They came up with something for that though,
the head of the driver, "you", turns when you approach a corner. This even helps you decide when to brake.
The tracks are amazingly accurate and all put together very nice.
Drifting:
Drifting came back in SHIFT 2, which I'm stoked about!
Very hard when you're not shifting manually, so shift manually!
It looks good, a bit too easy for my tastes. The tracks are very fun to do though.

Classes:
There are 4 classes, D till A, D being the slowest and A being the fastest.
There are also 4 different styles of cars, Modern, Retro, Muscle and Legend.
They all speak for themselves, Legend being iconic cars.

Customization:
This is where the charm of the game lies.
You can customize the hottest cars in the world, to make them a full-fledged race car.
The cars have "normal" upgrades which you can buy once you've got the car.
These upgrades are for making your car a fast street legal car.
However, once you've purchased enough upgrades, 75% of them to be precise,
you can purchase a WORKS upgrade. This turns your car into a racecar!
All the bodykits look good, all the wheels look good, you can upgrade the interior,
you can drop the car, when you upgrade the brakes you'll see better calipers and such.
All thought about.
Tuning:
And there's this! Who thought SHIFT was too plain on tuning can go berserk on SHIFT 2.
You can tune about everything, almost as accurate as in Forza 3.
This is a major improvement.
Graphical:
It looks stunning. All I can say.

Skimmed through the whole thing, sounds like it has its ups and downs, nothing that made me really wanna play it
then i saw the screenie of the golf 5 night shot and decided i want it.

Looks like a good game especially for the graphics, most racing games don't have very nice looks to it but this new NfS looks decent. I am probably going to get it soon, can't wait. Also a new NfS movie is coming out aswell (over here in Australia) it looks pretty awesome it has "the rock" in it i am pretty sure. Happy Gaming.

It really gets you competitive and in a racing mood. It's done very well.
Another thing which is nice is that the other cars match your car in most events,
so you can just keep driving your favorite car ;P
