Halo wasn't revolutionary, it was a decent fps with spacetheme...

Though castlevania, doom , final fantasy, and yeah , when the sims first was released it was revolutionary, even if you like it or not maxis released one of the most popoular games ever made wich opened a whole new simulation genre.

But Halo is revolutionary. It brought about all of this regenerating health, didn't it?

Or I could have the wrong definition of revolutionary.

No you are wrong, Faceball 2000 was the first game who "brought all of this regenerating health", Corporation was also a game with the generate health system.
Also if my memory doesnt fail me Midwinter was a game with the generate health system.
Halo was a game who brought it up again.

Halo wasn't a revolutionary game, it was a popular scifi fps game

Street Fighter made way to the fighting genre. And so did Metal Gear Solid for the stealth genre and adding cinematic elements to the game.
Rappunk said I need to put him on my sig :P
"So what if I lied? At least I'm honest about it."
Age of Empires, Gothic 2 ( if you played it you'd know), Mass Effect 2 ( for bringing back the character import), Half Life 2, NFS Shift ( the cockpit dynamics), Colin McRae rally ( dk if this was the name or not). THAW, Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX

That's all I can think of at the moment.
Halo is revolutionary , it set example for every fps in nowadays , the matchmaking was introduced by halo, before, you entered in a room and all your kills didn t matter because people kept entering and leaving ,with matchmaking only a certain group of people is playing and no more can enter, the every weapon having its purpose like shotgun for close combat , rocket launcher more anti vehicle etc , all introduced by halo .
