Building computer.
I'm building a computer. Can anyone recommend some good parts? The computer will be used mostly for gaming. Budget isn't a concern, I can wait. However, I don't want it being too expensive.

Wont be building until mid spring, these are just rough part plans so to say.
Parts I'm looking into:

GIGABYTE G1.Killer Motherboard(not to sure about it though [provided it's out when I start building])

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-502-_-Product - Graphics card.

If all fails with the gigabyte mother board, i'm just going to scrap the Geforce and get this combo.

That's pretty much it.

I am a magnificent volcano.
Why the GTX480? You realise that is an entry level card right?

What do you want the computer for? What are you going to do on it?

Ok, so what do you want the computer to be for? What do you intend to do on it? What do you currently do you on your computer?

I saw the GTX 450 in newegg for $85 after $20 *some kind of cashback or something*

depending on budget, it will save you a lot...

what games do you want to play on it? and what size monitor/resolution do you have?

also because of the heat and power usage of the new nvidia cards you might want to consider a 6870 from amd/ati.

Thedevill:im 20 years
Thedevill:i have better to do
memo: power usage on nvidia cards is lower than ever, heat too.
Plus if you get a sandy bridge core then you can offload GPU usage when its low to the CPU, and then you get even lower temps amirite
