When I was 15 NofX and Rancid were my absolute favorite bands.
Don't really listen to them anymore as my tastes have moved away from skatepunk towards garage, proto and hardcore punk.

Ahaha nice one, it has been more than 3 years since I last listened to a Green Day album. Nofx and Green Day are both pop punk bands.

nofx isn't a pop punk band
they haven't sold out or anything
just because they play good doesn't make them pop punk

I didn't say that they've sold out.
To me NoFX isn't punk rock because the music is so smooth and sleek.
Nothing wrong with that though, music to drink booze to with friends. Simple catchy stuff.
