probably my favorite piece ever written for the piano.. fucking win
The 20th Nocturne is also one of my favourites... such a dreamy piece. Anyway:
Chopin's 2nd Piano Sonata... has a movement most of you know as "Funeral March"... so epic when played by Horowitz.
Scriabin's 12th Piano Étude... very classy and stormy piece. Passionately played by Horowitz (AGAIN) in the video.
Scarlatti's Piano Sonata K141, as played by Martha Argerich. Just a representation of what really is semi-Classical Baroque.
Rachmaninov's 4th Musical Moment, played by Lugansky. Listen for yourselves, doesn't even require my explaining of why I like it.
Beethoven's Tempest Sonata (the third movement). Probably the saddest piano piece I have heard overall... Some people don't consider it sad, but I consider it desperately sad. Just sounds a lot like it, and always gets me down.
Villa-Lobos's 1st Prelude. (this one is guitar, and so is the next, opposed to all the piano videos)
Francisco Tarrega's Capricho Arabe.
That's all, I guess... Didn't want to make this post huge.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Orff's Carmina Burana (particularly O Fortuna). It tends to come up quickly. Same with Grieg's Piano Concerto in A minor. Not my favourite pieces, though.

Also no Tchaikovsky's Pathetique, RedDevil?
