Shader does not want to work
every time i go to turn on shaders it turns off it might be my beast. PC because i got Geforce gtx 260 graphics card and amd phenom quad core processor 2.5GHz. also i have windows 7 so that might be related really confused

There be the problem.

It's not that the hardware can't do it, it's because 64bit Win7 has broken GL.

Nvidia & Microsoft are working on finding what the problem is, but so far haven't discovered what.

Just means constantly updating graphics drivers & downloading Windows updates until they get the issue fixed.

Same for all other GL apps/games. Oddly enough 32bit doesn't have this issue, which is possibly why it's taking them so long to fix it.
