The option to skip to any page past page 1 is now not available, is this used as a method of people reading the first post before posting? I find it annoying, as a wibbles poster it's not necessary to read the first post to fully comprehend what the thread is about.

you just click the little arrow next to the name of the thread and it takes you to the last unread post in the thread.
