can some explain flames to me i just dont understand it

i think that flame particle is a texture to the flame itself
but since i dont have flame i cant know very well

The flame particle is the item what customizes the flame's particles:P



See those squares? Those can be customized that they will look like something else.

like when u get the flame how do u change it?

Buy a flame particle texture, make a 128*128 texture where black = transparent, white = visible, and upload it as you would a normal texture.

2) Open up an art program, create a texture. The flame particple texture just adds transparency - black parts of the texture will be transparent on your flame and white parts will be visible.

3) Save the texture as .tga

4) Go to textures ( http://forum.toribash.com/tori_textures.php )

5) Find your Flame Particle Texture, press ACTIVATE.

6) Press "browse"

7) Find your flame item that you saved on step 3. Select it, click open

8) Press upload

9) Wait

10) You should now how a flame texture ingame.

11) If it doesn't work, type /dl wes446

ohk but 1 more question.......how do u make it colorful if it need black nd whit to work

The colours are part of the flames not the particle, so if you get a red flame you get a red particle etc.
