I'm wondering if it's possible to use a laptop to extend the reach of a wireless network.

I use my neighbors upstairs, so the signal I'd weak. It works fine on my laptop but the ps3 I recently got can't connect well.

Is it possible to set up a wireless connection from my ps3 to the laptop, which would be connected to the network, to enable access to the Internet?

If it is, what is this method called? And what software (if any) do I need for it?

mb would work if you would use a wire to the laptop but im not sure, and the ps3 wireless isnt that strong(got one myself :P) but myself i got a phone jack near it so i use my 2nd broadband with wire connected.(doesnt work if you got 2 broadbands active!)
