Usually when this happens, people don't read all the posts and the thread is just chaotic. 40 posts doesn't really compare well to the amount most clans actually has to discuss in one day. Hence they tend to be rejected.

At any rate, rules asking for people to post for the sake of activity are not allowed. You know you're going wrong when you have rules about posting lots of posts, and not rules about reading those post.

I'm closing this thread since there is a post count requirement in the first post. Read the stickies, read the rules, open the thread when you're done and fix the first post.

I still don't get this stupid rule, no offence. Why can't I simply make a rule that is unique to our clan in a way? It doesn't effect anyone so I don't really see a reason for it being bad or something...

I don't know. I personally don't see the problem with having a forum activity rule, it keeps the inactive people from applying. Less clutter in the recruitment thread. Personally, I think clans should just have their own activity rules.
