If your CPU and GPU can't handle it, I'm both surprised and concerned at how unwilling you are to buy a new one of either. Seriously, start saving. Toribash is not nearly that hard on either as you might expect.

Other than that, there's a few arguably effective methods to make the frame rate smoother, which you should look around in Tutorials for, but nothing mindblowing.
