does a nvidia geforce 9400m run shaders decently?

Are you using a laptop? Guessing from the integrated graphics.

If you have the laptop with you, you could just test it out for yourself.

It's about the equivalent of a regular high end 8-series, so it should run at least 30+ fps.

Only way to find out for sure is to try it yourself.

Most laptops that come with an above average card like that usually have some decent dual-core (or better) CPUs. I think you'll be fine with near-perfect settings.

well actually u gotta pay a restocking fee if yu open it, i think ima take it back and get the 1 wit the ati radeon 4670 in it o-o

EDIT:: also i DLed toribash at best buy on this same mac and it didnt run shaders O_o idk y if yur sayin tht it will

I've been playing toribash for 2 days on this laptop.

NVIDIA GeForce 8200 and I can run it with shaders+Fluid blood+Ambient occlusion on 63fps.

well i think ima get the radeon 4670 instead :o
