What graphics card do you have? If you don't know, go into the start menu, click Run, and then dxdiag and hit the tab at the top labelled "Graphics". If you're using 7, there is no Run, just type it into the search bar. If you're not using Windows, tell us.
If the first word in your graphics card's name is Intel, then that's more than likely your problem.
