Cool game, i just got it today, heres the rundown:
A god is destroyed because he was imbuing people with godly powers (ie the heroes), however to fulfill ancient prophecy's etc (The watcher?) a new god must be created to take his spot. So, all those who where given power by the fallen god are to battle it out over a vast sprawling arena (possibly an entire planet) with the winner ascending to the status of a god.
The game is based on the popular Warcraft 3 genre 'AoS' (Aeon of Strife) which originated in Starcraft, a genre in which a number of players form two teams, and fight alongside AI spawned units (aka creeps, spawns or grunts), which move down predesignated 'lanes' towards the enemy base, to kill enemy heroes, and capture control points, and eventually destroy the opposing base.
Some key features include: Preset heroes, little hero development, lots of weak spawns, destroyable towers, capture points, and items.
The game follows true to the genre, not really presenting anything new, but is the first true standalone AoS (Some games half fit the genre, including Dynasty Warriors).
Some interesting points: Heroes in the game often gain abilities that transform them, be it turning them into angels or building a trebuchet on their back. Light towers fire rays of light that can become very powerful, as the rays bounce from tower to tower to make a super strong beam that targets a single enemy. Some heroes are dedicated PvP masters, while others are AoE specialists, but they all have a mix of skills.
Cool game, smooth graphics (not the best, but very fitting), some interesting perspective messing (very cool, hard to explain, but it causes craziness).
Anyone else play?

Rook, one of the heroes, hes basically a walking temple fortress. He can be upgraded to have an arrow tower on one shoulder, a light tower on the other, and a trebuchet on his back \o/
An ingame shot of the Ziggurat map, the shot doesnt give the scenery justice, its awesome feeling like you're battling on the top of the world. Other maps include a statue floating in space (yes, you play on the statue), a rock in a molten river, and a prision that is pretty much a spire leaping out of a chasm, very impressive!

i have the game only problems are Runs like horse shit on my pc when i surpass all recomended requirements and Second their is a HUGE lack of Comunity for it so i Say "obtain" a copy to see how it runs and if it runs good Go for it it realy is fun
