Orcs Must Die!

Orcs Must Die! challenges players to defend fortresses under siege. With a wide variety of traps and weapons to choose from, Orcs Must Die! dares players to find the best ways to hack, launch, flatten, gibletize, and incinerate an endless army of filthy orcs and their vile allies. Orcs Must Die! features a vibrant look, addictive gameplay, and a blatant disregard for the welfare of orcs.

Play as the War Mage and defend 24 fortresses from an enraged mob of orcs and 11 other villainous monsters.

Choose from a selection of 6 weapons and magic spells and 17 traps that hack, launch, flatten, gibletize, and incinerate your enemies.
Upgrade your traps, spells and weapons to cater the game to your personal play style.

Cleverly combine traps and spells for higher scores on the leaderboards.

Expertly wield your wits and your weapons through the story-driven campaign and unlock a brutal “Nightmare” campaign.

Replay fortresses endlessly, combining different defenses and tactics every time!

i personally enjoyed dungeon defenders more than i did with orcs must die, mostly because there's more to it at than trap making and shooting, you can level up, get new weapons, pets and all sorts of equipment for it. and there are different classes
I'm a fucking professional!
The differences between orcs must die and dungeon defenders are...

OMD, you have more strategy because you can create traps to help you in waves, dungeon defenders is a co-op gameplay, that you just have to kill, you dont have traps (atleast I didnt see any, just saw a video), if you like more strategies you should go OMD, if you like more killing and that things, you should go dungeon defenders.

Thats my point of view.

What ? are you kidding grayve?
OMD is pretty much influenced by Dungeon defenders, it is both the same concept, and its traps in Dungeon defenders aswell, you CAN'T get past the first level if you don't decide to use the traps, and it is both single and mp, and the waves is different depending how many you are in co'op, you buy pets and lots and LOTS of weapons, classes and lvls.
And every class has their own traps and barricades etcetc.
I recommend DD.

While OMD is ... well i like it, i own them both but its the same thing over and over again, i get bored of it, simple as that.

TotalHalibut has reviewed them both on youtube aswell, he's very critical and honest about his first impressions.

I found OMD to be quite an awesome game. Sure, it doesn't do multiplayer (which DD does), but on the flipside, the singleplayer is amazingly good (which is ridiculously hard in DD, since it's geared towards co-op).

What i really like about OMD (other than the silly humor) is that you get a new toy after every level. This COMPELS you to finish up, since you're curious about what you get next time. Auto-ballista in particular had me giggling like a madman. c:

Also, Nightmare mode is cruel and evil.
