So yeah, I'm just wondering.
I play for a high school. I march mello, and play the horn for concert season. We'll be attending state festival in about 3 weeks.

Get some ER-20s or custom moulded earplugs if you are playing with something in your mouth

O.k. actually I really wanted to be in the Jazz band and the marching band in highschool but my grades were too low, so dont take the "nerds" thing to heart.

I play and instrument but I have never played in a concert band before.

Play Alto Saxophone in a Wind Ensemble Band.

My high school is small, so all we have is a concert band, and a marching. Each consisting of the same people. At the All-South honor band (consisted of ~4 states) our first chair sax player made 2nd chair. =p
