Oh and not all textures are 512x512. There are 256x256 and 128x128 textures too.

Basically it looks like the mapping is different for other textures and I am wondering if this is true or not?
Like in size.

we have 128, 256 and 512 sizes.
if it is anything else the site will resize it to 512 when you upload, with possible quality loss.
if you are using 512x 512 size image it will be right.

the problem is mapping.

legs are mapped in a cylinder in horizontal.
You need to use templates when you are drawing it.
