I just began a project and by the end of it i will have a desire hd or a phone with almost the same specs booting iOS 4 ipad version, hopefully. What do you think about this?

That won't work. I've tried modifying iOS to run on foreign hardware, but the commands being sent back and forth seem to contradict eachother. It can BOOT, but it'll be painfully slow and you'll be in force-crash city...

just because you couldn't get it to work though doesn't mean someone else can't

it's possible he could modify the ios software to run on an android phone and make it run at least decent.
