First,my budget is between 1000-1300 bucks,and I'm looking for performance than portability.Size:15-16inches is what I had in mind.I searched for some online,but I'm still not sure what would be the best choice.
So,any suggestions?

Note book check can give you a good idea of how good a laptop is, if you know what GPU and CPU the laptop have you can put those in to find out how well they normally perform.

Also, the only point to a laptop is that it's portable, seriously, they are more expensive, slower, hotter and less stable than desktops.
