Crediting/Citing Question for Textures
ok this has been on my mind for a bit now, thought I'd ask here for help.
technically, if you take a published, unrelated-to-toribash piece of art of your own creation, copy a chunk of it, and then make it into a texture, would you credit it as c/p or just to yourself as if you made it from scratch?

Provided that it's not a piece you made and sold, meaning that it's still 100% yours,
then no need to credit yourself..
However, as you are copying and pasting pieces of another image, yes, it is c/p, and I'd
suggest linking the source.
