Just PM a VIP that you see online from the list on the bottom of Forum Page, simpler and faster than creating a thread.

If I'm not mistaken, any VIP members should have a "+" after their name at the bottom of the page.

Members who have a "+" suffix are contacts of the user viewing the forum.
You can only recognize a VIP by checking their custom usertitles, post backgrounds, bigger signatures, and a bigger avatar (or even a gif).
