I dont have any video editing software other than windows movi maker, what is a good software i can use?

Honestly you could have asked this question with your other thread.

For editing I use Sony Vegas. It isn't the easiest to learn but generally gets the best outcome. To answer you other thread, I use Fraps for recording and before you ask, for recording audio I prefer Audacity (as any actual visual recording software doesn't have amazing audio recording capabilities).

Depends on what you're using it for, if you're going for VFX, use After Effects CS6/7

in your experience, what projects did you do that required you to do video making?
If you are very new, just fresh starting, you are definitely going to have a bad time

I usually use both Sony Vegas Pro and Adobe After Effects.
After Effect is a lot harder, but also more advanced imo.
