I use both,relax prevents disemberment,try destroying uke while putting him in relax,will be harder than usual

it usually depends on the mod for me

judo- hold
aikido - relax

I've grown so use to relax that I use in almost every mod. Only in some circumstances do I use hold, such as in AikidoBigDojo, where I occasionally use it when trying to prevent myself from being forced to the ground and dq'd.

Both, whatever is needed. I never hold all though, maybe only when trying to pose, but even then my arms are often relaxed, to look less stiff.

I always use relax, sometimes I hold all just cause I'm bored.

depends on the mod with me. typically I relax all no matter what mod I'm playing because it allows me to move faster. can't really move when I hold all so I barely do it.

I relax because it looks cooler. I just play on what looks cool lol

Most of the time, like others, it depends on the mod. For me, I'll prefer to relax + hold in aikido and hold all in mods such as judo. I use relax when playing wushu.
