Well if its across the world then whats the point....if the two only live, lets say 30 mins- 1 hour from each other and actualy have the chance to meet, then it'd be fine. Pretty much depends on the locale of the two

Someone could be someone on the dating website, But then you find out it's a whole different gender person than you thought. But if you live where you can't meet it's "ok"

I think it has many holes in it. It's a joy to have a relationship, but the person on the other end could be anyone.
Online dating like eharmony is okay, I guess... Not quite as many ways to be someone you aren't.

It's downright horrible. If you can't get the balls to go up to a girl and ask her out irl, than you don't deserve one.
