I recently got banned (I gotta think before I post) and I got 10 points that expire at such and such time. What do the points do?

The points add up together towards a ban. They're called infraction points. I don't quite remember how many points are required for how long a ban, but I'm sure someone will fill me in on this later. Don't get infraction points.

yea, and i think 5 infraction points are like a 24 hour ban, and 10 is a week ban and i think 20 is a month ban.

5 is a day, 10 is a week and 20 is permanent. note that these points have to be active to count towards a ban.

Yea I know why I was banned. So I have 10 points now, if I get 5 more points before they expire, will I get a month ban?

ONLY if they are active. In time, they will expire.
