Its a steam site
But DON'T Log in.
Its a fake site. And will steel your steam account.

If you fall for this kind of stuff, you obviously aren't an avid internet user.

Phishing is remarkably simple to detect and downplay in most cases. If someone who seems important needs to CONTACT YOU DIRECTLY, it's probably not legitimate. If Gabe Newell wants to tell you something, he'll use whatever Steam bulletin service he's put into it, or just a standard news post or whatever the hell works.

And even if you are dumb enough to loose you're password to this site you can easily get your account back by entering the email adress used or secret question answer.

Or send an email to steam support.

I don't see why this noob stuff gets stickied.

Sometimes, It only takes accepting a chat request from someone. Just block incoming chat requests if you don't know them.

Thank you indeed. I would never press on a link saying about a game unless the actual Steam Update says so though.
