Can you unscramble this?
This . . is . . very . . . cold
fire . . . on . . likely . . cold
fox. . . . fire . . like. . . .burning steaks.

Trying to figure this out, friggin' hard...

I'm thinking it has something to do with the amount of periods, they seem to alternate, but share the same pattern. 2 periods, both in the middle of the words, not touching it; 3 periods, not touching the words; but the 4 periods do alternate, on fox. . . . fire, the period doesn't touch fire, but on like. . . .burning steaks, the period touches burning, so I think they're different.

I also counted it up, the amount of times there are 2 periods is 5, 3 periods is 2, and 4 periods is 2.

Then again, i could be over-thinking this...
But let's see your guy's thoughts on this.

Some guy I play world of warcraft with, he's pretty trustworthy.
Edit: He never said it would be easy to find

If you read it from top to bottom, the first half comes out to be "this firefox is on fire".
No clue how "burning steaks" and "cold" can even form a coherent sentence.
this cold fire fox is very likely on fire like cold burning steaks?

only sentence I can make that even remotely could work.
My seniority means you should probably just agree with everything I say
Im also thinking it could be an anagram, but I'll take to the guy. Might convince him for a hint.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand he's offline.

Maybe it's not the words.....
look at the full stops, some have 2 some have 3...
am I on the right track?

First off,

I'm thinking it has something to do with the amount of periods, they seem to alternate, but share the same pattern. 2 periods, both in the middle of the words, not touching it; 3 periods, not touching the words; but the 4 periods do alternate, on fox. . . . fire, the period doesn't touch fire, but on like. . . .burning steaks, the period touches burning, so I think they're different.

Secondly, i have no idea what the answer is myself. I don't really have the brain capacity to do it myself.
