It is actually the ghost that you are seeing

maybe switch off shaders and switch it on again.

Hmm and it does work if you dont hide tori and uke.
Sounds like another 3.8 shader bug to me.

Not quite sure though.

Well yeah, 3.8 shaders has issues, the engine isnt that stable as it was before in 3.7 so you might get things like that in the future, too.
